if you tried this solution:
STEP -1
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 jscript.dll - then press OK
STEP-2
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 vbscript.dll - then press OK

after doing so this message appear: "Regsvr32 Error 0x80004005" (usually in windows vista). And advised youo to logged in as an administrator.

Use this approach:
close your yahoo messenger
go to: c:\windows\system32 and look for the "cmd.exe" icon
right click the icon and click "Run as Administrator"
a command black screen will appear. Then type the following in the commend end line of:
first:::: c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 jscript.dll ,then press enter
2nd:::: c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 vbscript.dll ,then press enter

Now check your messenger. Evrything will be restored back in order.
